Geralt starts the game with one Runa ognia. Later, they can be purchased from the Tajemniczy kupiec, Hagart lub Thorak w Vergen, lub Falas, Niesamowity Lockhart lub Polikarp z Rinde w Akt Trzeci.
To use a rune, Geralt simply drags it over to one of the rune slots on a suitable sword w Panelu Ekwipunku.
Fire runes can also be used to craft ruda czerwonego meteorytu, though given that the price of a Runa ognia is much more than that of a piece of ore, it seems a poor use of the rune. pl:Runa ognia
